There is another way by bus/ car but you will need about 1,5 days if you will not overnight on the way, or up to 3 days with overnight and some sightseeing on the way. We’re flying in to CGK arriving on EVA at 1:20pm and then wondering if 2.5 hours is enough time to connect to a domestic flight - either AirAsia or Citilink to Bali DPS. Yes that's a surf area. From Jakarta it will take around 6-8 hours depending on traffic. Towards Sukabumi it's bad..leave early in the morning as you'll get 4-5 roadside markets. Rental in Sukabumi you may take a chance.. you may have some small rentals along the street but possibly dont have a website. The suggestion from Cirque is good, try .
